Brakinis Swimwear

Have you always been wanting a Triangl bikini, but it was just too expensive to order the original?
Well, i found an amazing company called Brakinis, which sells identical bikinis as Triangl does, but cheaper.Even the names of the styles are exactly the same on both websites.
As they've got so many pretty bikins to choose from ( even some Triangl has already discontinued), it was so hard for me to decide myself for one of them. Finally i decided to get the Poppy stlye in Peach Soda.
Two weeks after I had ordered my bikini, it arrived with the post, which I found was very quick as the bikins come all the way from Hong Kong. Fortunately I did not had to pay any additional costoms, but it's always possible that you come accross with them. I was so happy after I unpacked  the parcel, because the brakini is just stunningly perfect!! Excactly how it has been discribed on the website.








The bikini comes with this beautiful plastic bag and a card witch tells you how to care for your neoprene bikini as well as with all the details in case if you would like to return your brakini.

I was really curious if the bikini would fit me, as it's always quite risky and difficult to find the right size, when ordering something from an online shop. After heaps of research in the internet and the help from the sizing chart on the website, I decided to get a XS for the top and a S for the bottoms. 
Fortunalty I was lucky, the brakini fits almost perfectly!
Normally I wear a 34-36 (0-2) in jeans, and a 75A (34A) in bras. For the bottoms i would highly recommend going a size up, as the the bikini is made out of 100% neoprene, which makes it sit very tight on the skin. And a XS would defenetly be to firm on my skin !
Coming to the top I read that one should stick to the normal size, so I did and it fits well. But I would've maybe prefered a Small, just to have some more room. So if you're a 80A (36A), I would defenetly recommend you getting a Small for the top.
You should also keep in mind that the bottoms are full coverage, which I personally really like but if you are into cheeky bikini bottoms, this might not be the right style for you.


Just as the Triangl bikinis, it has got a strong clasp in the bag. So one doesn't have to worry about anything getting open or not being right in place, which is perfect for example for swimming in waves, as it literally won't move at all.The only differnce hear is that the clasp got dots instead of that it says Triangl. But honestly I don't thing that this really matters!!:)
Anouther thing wich I really love are the adjustable straps, wich make live so much easier!! I thing that Triangl didn't have those in the past, but they updated them recently as well.




Right under the black lining there is a little lable which has got Brakinis written on it. I find this really cute and it actually doesn't bother me at all.
But if you really don't want anybody to see that it is not an original Triangl, you can still ripp it off carefully.


So all in all I think that this is an awesome alternative and I'm actually convinced, that both companies, Brakinis and Triangl, somehow belong together, just that Brakinis is selling their bikinis a bit cheaper , (69$ for one brakini + 19$ shipping) than Triangl does (89$+20$ ).
A totall of arround 80$ to 90$ is still quite a lot of money, but why should one pay 30$ more if one can get the same quality?!:)
Personally, I don't own a Triangl bikini, but I compared it with a friends one and besides the wee tiny differences I have mentioned( clasp, label..), it is the exact bikini!!!

I'm so madly in love with my new bikini and I think it will look so great with a tan, as the bright colours will pop out.
Next week I'm going on holidays and I can't wait to wear this one. So if you like the Triangl styles, but do not want to spent that much money: you should defenetly check Brakinis out!!
